CHURCH

Sant Irene is the only church in the village and have a great value for the village of Farmakas along with the miraculous image of Saint Irene.

The present Temple was built between 1931-1934 and celebrates on May 5 and many believers arrive to worship. As for the image of Saint Irene, it is considered miraculous and according to stories, it healed the eyes of patients who worshiped it.
